After a drug raid takes his parents from him, 13-year-old Tommy faces the threat of foster care and an uncertain future. With his best friends, Steve and O’Neill, by his side, he sets out across the city in search of a way forward. His unlikely guide is a phone sex operator who becomes a kind of fairy godmother, offering help as Tommy tries to stay free.
