In 1984, a group of eighth graders gather outside a small-town nightclub, waiting on the edge of a world that feels just out of reach. As the night unfolds, they navigate the pressures and fears surrounding them: a wave of recent suicides, strange UFO sightings, absentee parents, and the shifting dynamics between one another.
