Liz Lemon is the head writer of TGS with Tracy Jordan, a late-night sketch-comedy variety show in New York. As she tries to keep the series running smoothly, she has to manage an arrogant new boss, a wildly unpredictable star, and the clashing egos that surround her, all while holding on to her own ambitions and trying not to lose her mind.
