40 Days and Nights

A colossal tectonic shift sends sea levels rising, threatening life across the planet. As the crisis grows, a microbiologist races to gather DNA from as many species as possible, hoping to preserve what can still be saved. At the same time, the military works on an “ark,” a desperate project meant to protect life on Earth from the unfolding disaster.
