A Shot in the Dark

After a murder in the mansion of an influential millionaire, clumsy French Inspector Jacques Clouseau is assigned to the case. The main suspect is Maria Gambrelli, a maid in the household, but Clouseau quickly becomes smitten with her and insists on proving her innocence. As his investigation spins into a string of comic mishaps and rising casualties, his irritable boss Charles Dreyfus grows increasingly exasperated.
