At Abby’s, an oddball group of regulars has found the bar they call home: an unlicensed, makeshift spot tucked into Abby’s backyard in San Diego. The place runs by its own strict rules, including no cell phones, earning a seat at the bar over time, and facing the penalty for a lost challenge: a limey, sugary “not-beer” drink.
