Twenty years after a holiday with her father, Sophie looks back on the moments they shared, from the joy they seemed to carry together to the sadness that lingered beneath the surface. As memories, imagined fragments, and camcorder footage blur together, she tries to understand the father she knew as a child and the troubled man who remained partly hidden from her.
