Alice

Alice lives enslaved on a secluded rural Georgia plantation, longing for freedom beyond the trees that surround her world. After a violent confrontation with the plantation owner, Paul, she runs into the neighboring woods and emerges onto a highway, where the reality outside the plantation is far different from what she has been made to believe: the year is 1973.
