Childhood friends Rocky Sullivan and Jerry Connelly take very different paths after growing up in the same tenement neighborhood. Rocky becomes a powerful gangster, while Jerry becomes a priest dedicated to helping the community they both once called home. When Rocky’s influence begins to reach a group of street kids, Jerry tries to keep them from following the same criminal path.
