Anna Karenina

In late-19th-century Imperial Russia, Anna Karenina, the wife of officer Karenin and a figure in St. Petersburg high society, travels to Moscow to visit her brother. On the way, she meets Count Alexei Vronsky, a charming cavalry officer, and feels an immediate attraction. As their connection grows, Anna faces the rigid expectations of aristocratic society, where such a relationship could ruin a woman’s reputation.
