Sam, an 18-year-old on the autism spectrum, decides he is ready to start dating and find a girlfriend. As he pushes toward love, self-discovery, and greater independence, the change ripples through his home life. His search is funny and painful in equal measure, and it sends his mother onto a life-changing path of her own while the whole family adjusts to Sam growing up.
