In the 22nd century, a paraplegic Marine is sent to the moon Pandora on a unique mission. As he becomes immersed in this unfamiliar world and encounters its alien civilization, his sense of duty begins to conflict with a growing attachment to the place he has come to see as home. Torn between following orders and protecting Pandora, he must face where his loyalty truly lies.
