In a declining 1950s town, young farmhand Donnie is approached by a mysterious traveler with a dangerous proposition. If Donnie helps bring down the town’s tyrannical leader, the traveler promises to secure the release of Donnie’s mother from a primitive mind-rehabilitation center. Caught between fear, loyalty, and desperation, Donnie must decide how far he is willing to go.
