Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)

A fading actor, once famous for playing a popular superhero, tries to revive his career by taking on a Broadway play. With opening night drawing closer, he struggles to prove himself in a new arena while also trying to become more selfless and repair strained ties with the people around him. His comeback becomes tangled with the harder work of reconnecting with friends and family.
