Raised by his single mother in Baltimore, a street-wise teenager travels to New York City to spend the Christmas holiday with estranged relatives. Away from the life he knows and surrounded by family connections that have grown distant, he faces an unexpected holiday visit that becomes surprising, uplifting, and deeply inspirational.
