Black Outside

Gary and Mary set out to hike the 2,600-mile Pacific Crest Trail, taking on the physical demands and uncertainty of life in the wilderness. Along the way, Gary, a Black man, reflects on the societal perceptions that shape how Black people are seen in outdoor spaces, while forming connections with fellow hikers and facing the challenges of the trail.
