In early 1960s Boston, reporter Loretta McLaughlin is the first to connect a series of murders and break the story of the Boston Strangler. Working with fellow journalist Jean Cole, she pushes past the sexism of the newsroom and the dangers surrounding the case as the two women pursue the truth behind the city’s most notorious serial killer.
