Brief Interviews With Hideous Men

After her boyfriend abruptly leaves with little explanation, a doctoral candidate in anthropology at a prestigious East Coast university is left trying to understand what went wrong. Coping with the breakup and searching for answers, she begins conducting interviews with various men, using their stories and perspectives to examine relationships, intimacy, and the confusion left behind by an unresolved ending.
