Brothers

In 1953, brothers Josef and Ctirad Masin try to escape communist Czechoslovakia with the aim of reaching West Berlin and joining the US Army. Based on a controversial real-life story from the 1950s, the film follows their attempt to cross from a tightly controlled state into the West, where politics, loyalty, and survival shape every step of their plan.
