A film student heads to Kern County with two friends to shoot a documentary, but their project takes an unsettling turn when they encounter a mysterious family. As the group gets pulled deeper into what they have uncovered, they begin to understand that some secrets are better left alone, and that opening the wrong door can have consequences they never expected.
