Clotilda: Last American Slave Ship

In July 1860, the schooner Clotilda carried 110 kidnapped Africans to slavery in Alabama after a bet led traffickers to break the law and conceal their crime. This documentary examines the sunken wreck, now explored by archaeologists, and the rare record it preserves as the most intact slave shipwreck found to date, with a known story of its voyage, passengers and descendants.
