Cold in July

On a humid Texas night in 1989, protective family man Richard Dane investigates noises in his home and fatally shoots a burglar. The town treats him like a hero, but the killing brings dangerous consequences when the dead man’s ex-con father arrives seeking revenge. As fear for his family grows, Richard is pulled into a dark spiral of lies, violence, and moral unease.
