Comfort and Joy

Glasgow radio host Alan “Dickie” Bird is drawn into an unexpected feud after he sees an ice cream van attacked and destroyed by angry competitors. His curiosity leads him into a bitter dispute between two Italian families, the Bernardis and the Rossis, as they fight over whose vans have the right to sell in different parts of the city.
