After discovering that his wife has been unfaithful, a New York stand-up comic finds his life suddenly upended. With his marriage falling apart, he is forced to start over and take a hard look at who he is, both on and off the stage. As he tries to rebuild, he navigates the New York City comedy scene and searches for a new direction in the aftermath of a painful break.
