Cuba

In pre-Revolution Cuba, a British mercenary is brought in to help train General Batista’s army as it prepares to fight Castro’s guerrillas. Amid the political unrest and corruption around him, he reconnects with a former lover, now married to an unscrupulous plantation owner, drawing him into a tense conflict between duty, desire, and a country on the edge of upheaval.
