Ken is an over-protective father facing the kind of family surprise every parent dreads: his daughter has returned from her gap year after impulsively marrying Cuckoo, an American hippie with no apparent ambition and a head full of outlandish New Age ideas. As Cuckoo enters their lives, Ken must deal with a son-in-law who challenges everything he expects.
