Death Note

High school student Light Turner discovers a mysterious supernatural notebook with a deadly power: anyone whose name is written in its pages can be killed. Convinced he can use it to rid the world of criminals, Light begins a secret crusade from the shadows. But as the deaths draw notice, he attracts the attention of a determined detective, a demon connected to the notebook and a girl in his class.
