This dramatization recounts the April 2010 disaster aboard the offshore drilling rig Deepwater Horizon. Set on the rig in the period surrounding the explosion, the film follows the events that lead to one of the most devastating industrial catastrophes in U.S. history, an incident that creates the worst oil spill ever recorded in the country.
