Clifford Skridlow is a shy, gentle professor of comparative literature at the financially strapped Monroe College in Chicago. His quiet academic life is upended after a chance encounter with four women at a restaurant, leading a pimp on the run to place them in his care. Unsure and far outside his comfort zone, Clifford accepts the unexpected challenge.
