Two low-level astronomers discover that a comet is hurtling toward Earth with the power to destroy the planet. To warn humankind, they are forced into a massive media tour, trying to turn a world-ending threat into news people will actually take seriously. But in a distracted culture built on noise, spectacle, and indifference, their urgent message is met with a shrug.
