Doula

An L.A. couple is preparing for a new baby when their midwife dies suddenly, leaving them without the support they expected. In need of help close at hand, they make an unusual choice: hiring the midwife’s hippie son to move in and serve as their live-in doula, placing a stranger with an unconventional background at the center of their most personal plans.
