John Peterson has built a life in Southern California with his partner, Eric, and their adopted daughter. That life is unsettled when his aging father, Willis, comes to visit while looking for a place to retire. As father and son spend time under the same roof, the distance between their beliefs, habits, and expectations becomes impossible to ignore, forcing their very different worlds into close contact.
