In the first season of this Chicago-set dramedy, the Winslows, a middle-class African American family, face everyday misadventures at home and around the neighborhood. Their lives are often complicated by Steve Urkel, the pesky next-door neighbor whose ultra-nerdy habits have a way of turning ordinary situations into trouble.
