In central Florida, a group of runaways and orphans lives on the margins, drifting through swamps and trailer parks with nowhere stable to call home. When a dark, charismatic father figure takes them in, the misfit gang finds a dangerous kind of belonging. Together, they move through the backroads and hidden corners of the region, leaving chaos in their wake.
