Finding Altamira

In 1879, nine-year-old Maria and her father, Marcelino, come upon a discovery that will become one of the most important of the 19th century: the first prehistoric cave paintings found in the Altamira cave. The film follows the life and events surrounding the man connected to this world-famous site, and the moment that brings Altamira’s ancient images to light.
