Flashbacks of a Fool

Aging Hollywood star Joe Scott has settled into a life of narcissistic excess, watched over by his quiet personal assistant, Ophelia. When he returns home for the funeral of his childhood best friend, Boots, the loss pulls him back into memories of his youth in a seaside town in 1970s Britain, where the past begins to weigh against the hollow comforts of his present.
