In Season 1 of Forged in Fire, four custom knife makers face a series of challenges to create the best usable blade. Across the competition, they re-create weapons inspired by historical periods, from Japanese katanas and medieval broadswords to ancient throwing blades. Each finished piece is judged on artistry, functionality, and historical accuracy.
