Franklin - Season 1

In December 1776, Benjamin Franklin is already world-famous for his electrical experiments, but at age 70 he faces one of the greatest gambles of his career. Sent on a secret mission to France, he must use his influence and intelligence to outmaneuver British spies and French informers as he works to secure the Franco-American alliance of 1778, with the fate of American independence at stake.
