Teenager Billy Bloom does not fit the expectations of the ultra conservative high school he attends, but he refuses to let that define his choices. In a setting shaped by rigid traditions and narrow ideas of who belongs, Billy makes a bold decision: he will run for homecoming queen, turning a familiar school ritual into a personal stand for visibility and self-expression.
