Free to Laugh

Free to Laugh follows formerly incarcerated women as they explore the power of comedy after prison. Through workshops and live performance, these female ex-cons develop their skills, shape their experiences into material, and find a public voice through stand-up. The film looks at comedy as a creative outlet and a way to connect after life behind bars.
