From Here to Eternity

At a U.S. Army base in Hawaii in 1941, a tough private faces harsh punishment after refusing to box for his unit’s team. As pressure inside the ranks intensifies, another conflict unfolds nearby: the commanding officer’s wife and his top noncommissioned officer are drawn into a dangerous love affair that strains the rigid world around them.
