After being accidentally cryogenically frozen in 1999, New York City pizza delivery boy Philip J. Fry wakes up on New Year’s Eve 2999. Stranded one thousand years in the future, he finds work at Planet Express, an interplanetary delivery company, and faces life in a retro-futuristic 31st century far removed from the world he knew.
