After a mishap leaves New York City pizza delivery boy Philip J. Fry cryogenically frozen in 1999, he wakes up on New Year’s Eve in the year 2999. Stranded a thousand years beyond his old life, Fry finds work at Planet Express, an interplanetary delivery company, and adjusts to the strange routines, odd dangers, and retro-futuristic world of the 31st century.
