New in town, Janey finds a quick connection with Lynne, a classmate who loves dancing as much as she does, especially the local show Dance TV. When the program announces a competition to choose new performers, the two friends set their sights on auditioning. But Janey’s plans are complicated by her father, who disapproves of her interest in that world.
