Girls State

In this documentary, 500 adolescent girls from across Missouri gather for a week-long immersion in a sophisticated experiment in democracy. Coming from widely different backgrounds, they work to build a government from the ground up, including organizing a Supreme Court to consider some of the most contentious issues of the day.
