A one-hit-wonder girl group from the 1990s gets an unexpected second chance when a young rapper samples their old song. Reunited by renewed attention, the members of Girls5eva decide to try for pop stardom again, even as grown-up life pulls them in every direction with spouses, kids, jobs, debt, aging parents and the everyday aches that come with time.
