Heart of the Matter

Andie, a young cardiologist, is shaken after a patient with a disability dies in an accident, leaving her feeling responsible for his death. Hoping to apologize, she reaches out to the patient’s grieving mother, but the meeting only deepens the pain and leads to a lawsuit threatening Andie’s medical license. As both women struggle with sorrow, they must face guilt, anger and the difficult possibility of forgiveness.
