A restless Nebraska teenager sets out for the bright lights of Las Vegas, armed with a pistol and a desire to leave her old life behind. Hitchhiking west, she quickly finds the road more dangerous and unpredictable than expected when she crosses paths with an unstable rebel and a cocaine-snorting drifter, turning her escape into a risky trip through unfamiliar territory.
