Rob, a thirty-year-old record store owner with a habit of making lists, is left reeling when his long-time girlfriend dumps him. Trying to make sense of his latest romantic failure, he looks back on his top five breakups of all time, including the one still unfolding. As he revisits the relationships that shaped him, Rob searches for the reasons he keeps coming up short in love.
