Kayak to Klemtu

After her uncle’s death, 14-year-old Ella becomes determined to speak on his behalf against a proposed pipeline that would bring oil tanker traffic through the waters near her hometown in British Columbia. To reach the hearing, she sets out by kayak along the Inside Passage, traveling the shores of the Great Bear Rainforest toward Klemtu and a chance to defend her homeland waters.
